Alaska (Inc. in Portland, Oregon),1890, 50 Shares, I/U, Black on brown border, Ship docked at pier with mountains and mine behind, S/N 3725, Issued to and signed on the back by J. Joseph, Signed by F.O. Downing as Secretary and Charles E. (Benn?) as president, Choice VF to XF condition. Any Alaska mining stock certificates from 1890 and earlier are extremely rare. This is the second one I have seen of this certificate. A trophy for the advanced Alaska collector.
