Description

Lambertville, New Jersey, 18xx (ca.1830-47), Uncut sheet of 4 obsolete banknotes, $20-$20-$50-$100, NJ-280-X2 (G24, 24, 26, 28), Unissued sheet, the $20 note has young man giving flower to young woman on left, cattle and sheep in middle and standing Liberty and shield on right with small train on bottom; the $50 note has barge being pulled along canal in middle with seated liberty on left and standing allegorical woman on right with cornucopia; $100 has woman with rake on left, milkmaid on right with Washington after crossing the Delaware in the Battle of Trenton, 1776 in middle, the sheet has been folded vertically in the middle and has folds in the middle horizontally, the paper is fresh and crisp and these folds keep this attractive sheet from AU to Uncirculated condition.
