Virginia, 1881, $1000, Specimen 6% Income Bond, Horizontal Format, Black without underprint, locomotive UR, Brakeman on left, POC's, ABNC, VF- XF. Payable to Ulysses S.Grant, Jr. (son of the president). ABNC. This is the only bond variety listed for this railroad and it is listed but not previously seen or photographed. VF condition.
