Description

Colombia. ND (ca.1880-1900). Banco De Colombia proof vignette for 100 Pound-500 Pesos bond or banknote top printed on india paper mounted on large manila envelope. Printed in dark orange. Well known image of Columbus holding sword and flag with his crewmen and natives in background, 120mm by 60 mm. Top of envelope also has "Republica De Colombia" stock or bond title in black. Rare archival proof vignette of Christopher Columbus. ABNC.
