Cuba (Issued in Madrid, Spain). Real Compania de La Havana, 250 Pesos, I/U, Black printing on off white paper, Cherubs flank the royal seal at the top. A shield with three castles and a key, below. S/N 2396, The company's financial situation was still being adjudicated in the 1840s. One vertical fold, and some very minor foxing in the bottom margin. Scarce and early. (John E.
